Dr. Joseph Injodey

A Doctorate from Mahatma Gandhi University and a Post Graduate Degree in Social Work from Loyola College, Dr. Joseph I. Injodey has over 20 years of teaching experience in colleges in India and abroad. He has also served as a consultant at TCS, Kochi refineries Ltd. and Kochi International Airport Ltd. He is recognized as an expert in employee selection for many companies and educational institutions. His major areas of interest are counseling, mentoring, and providing placement assistance for students. As an advisor he would be actively involved guiding the operating team at ICON.

2. Curriculum Advisors

Dr. David A McMurrey

Dr. David's expertise includes the area of teaching, writing, editing and presenting of seminars on technical writing. He is a faculty at various universities like Austin Community College, Brooklyn College, University of Texas, Baker University at Kansas and Saint Edward's University. He has been the writer and editor for eleven years at IBM Corporation. Equipped with excellent domain knowledge, technical expertise and extensive cross-functional experience in various organizations like Analyst international Corporation, Century Design, Wayne Dresser, Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission, etc., Dr. David is the driving force of the faculty team at ICON.

Dr. David A McMurrey received his Bachelors in English from the University of Texas at Austin; masters in English from Indiana University—Bloomington and doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in Comparative Literature.

Besides the above, Dr. David A McMurrey, is also the founder and program coordinator for the Business and Technical Communications Program at Austin Community College. He is the author of several technical writing books that we use as course materials like Processes in Technical Writing, Writing Fundamentals and Power Tools for Technical Communication. He has also developed online writing courses like Technical and Business Writing, Creating Documents with Adobe FrameMaker, Editing Technical Information, Grammar and Style, etc.

Mr. Joe William

Joe an expert technical writer with a dozen years of experience in the industry, a master's degree in technical communication from Texas Tech University in the year 2003 will add to the technical expertise at ICON. His area of specialization includes consulting with organizations on improving workflows and toolchains to produce documentation using cutting edge tools and technology including XML and XSLT. Joe has partnered with the ICON team to bring in the best industry practices to the teaching of technical writing. His consulting experience along with knowledge of software tools will help the students to gain the right kind of technical expertise to meet the demands of the industry.
